More leakage on the Sony VAIO P series laptop

Obviously Sony s wanting the world to know about their new Sony VAIO P series laptops and hasn’t been coy in letting a few images hit the net. The latest of these images is on the Cnet website which shows the rectangular laptop with its lid open. Not a great deal can be gleaned from the image though, can’t even make sure it even has that 8 inch 1600 x 768 display, but it does look like there’s a lot of Sony VAIO TT in there. One thing is for sure though, as yet there’s still no solid word on pricing, but everyone’s probably hoping Sony will make it reasonable, and we’ll all probably find out at CES in a few weeks time.

Video: Apple vs. Microsoft Transformers style Termination

Well there has always been a rivalry between Microsoft and Apple with their laptops, but what we have here seems to take that rivalry a step further into the realms the futuristic, and just happens to be quite awesome.

The ultimate Apple vs. Microsoft battle in video whereby an Apple and Microsoft laptop take on the mix of Transformers come Terminator and go at it to see which is the best.

Its great fun to watch and done exceedingly well, and to see the Apple laptop grab some backup from its desktop buddies is pure entertainment; gotta watch out for those spinning, flying apple disks though.

Take a look at the video below…Awesome fun.

Video: Lenovo ThinkPad W700ds duals-screen in action

Remember that Lenovo dual screen ThinkPad W700ds, well be got fairly official earlier and as a result a new video has popped up on YouTube and shows a Lenovo dual screen ThinkPad W700ds which appears to be straight out of pre-production.

The video doesn’t show a great deal to be honest, but it does show that slide out dual screen albeit it still having a slight wobble which give us the impression it is a pre-production model.

Unfortunately all the video does is make one think that maybe it would have been far better if Lenovo had of taken a few minutes to tighten a few screws here and there before flashing it off, and hopefully will before the Lenovo dual screen ThinkPad W700ds hits the market for real.

Dell Studio XPS gets pictured along with Adamo leaks

Remember that Dell Adamo laptop post I did the other day, well thanks to Engadget we get a look at some tasty images of the Dell Studio XPS 13 along with some new information concerning that upcoming Dell Adamo, see original post (here)

The images we originally saw of the Dell Studio XPS 13 do not really do it justice; anyone can tell that by viewing the images available now.

As for that Dell Adamo, well it’s quite real and is apparently being marketed as the “world’s thinnest laptop” but has been pushed back to a February launch at least. The Dell Adamo will sport a black and silver scheme similar to the image here, but wil be different and able to snap up some of the Apple MacBook and Apple MacBook Air marketshare. So to check out those photos hit up the source.

Video: Fujitsu LifeBook N7010 with 4 inch touchscreen

I done a post not too long ago on the Fujitsu LifeBook N7010 which incorporates a 4 inch touchsceen…see (here) and as a follow up to that post there is now a video available showing off said Fujitsu LifeBook N7010 and that 4 inch touchscreen.

The reviewer seems to be very impressed with the N7010, especially its 960 x 544 resolution, but as with most things there’s always a little snag, and this one was with a problem in getting it to work with Windows Journal.

Of course, depending on how you work or even just how good your eyesight is, you not decide that the Fujitsu LifeBook N7010 laptop and especially that 4 inch touchscreen may not be for you.

Pine scented ASUS F6V laptop

The Asus F6V laptop has received the unboxing treatment and apparently as soon as you open the box of the Asus F6V, you are greeted with the scent of a pine forest, which is an unusual factor to say the least.Asus has done a great job with the design of the F6V giving it a gloss finish with swirls and splashes, and the F6V’s touchpad is real smooth to use while the F6V’s keyboard is easy to type on but do feel a tad plastic. The Asus F6V features a Intel Core 2 Duo T5800 2GHz processor, 13.3 inch display, runs on Windows Vista operating system with 2GB RAM and 320GB hard drive with a weight of 2kg and has a start price of $1,599.

G1G1 global orders cancelled by Amazon UK

The word coming in is that Amazon UK may be cancelling Give 1 Get 1 worldwide purchase due to OLPC is apparently taking too long to ship the XO laptop. Amazon UK looking to cancel G1G1 orders comes as somewhat of a shock.OLPC donors were aware that shipping would probably take some time while Amazon themselves says said shipping would begin around about the 19th to the 24th of December. However, Amazon.co.uk/XO has it that “the item is due release on the 3rd of January 09.”Apparently Amazon UK sent out an email which stated the following order with was placed on the 17th of November 08 with One Laptop per Child will be cancelled if this order is not shipped by the 16th of December 08.
